As a busy mom, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance the demands of motherhood with your professional aspirations. And if you are a single mom, the road ahead can feel overwhelming. By 25 years old, I thought I had it all: marriage, baby, degrees and career. By 35 years old, I was a twice divorced single mother. I was a workaholic constantly trying to overcompensate and do the job of two parents, desperate to provide the childhood my children deserved. I was burned out climbing the corporate ladder and chasing the elusive American dream. I just could never seem to find the right balance. Having to choose between board meetings and soccer lessons, school plays and court trials had me overwhelmed with anxiety and mom-guilt. It seemed like the harder I worked, the harder my life became!

Then, in 2021, at the ripe young age of 40 years old, I decided to drastically change my life! I took a massive leap of faith and moved to Ghana, West Africa. Within the year, I had turned my business into a 7-figure law firm, promoting myself to the CEO. This financial and emotional freedom launched me into the best phase of my life. Since moving to Ghana, I now own multiple businesses and have large real estate holdings in three countries on two continents.
